I have made eye contact with him a couple of times, and sometimes I feel like his friends are looking at me. Sometimes his friends seem to act different when they see me or I walk past. He is a couple of years older than me and we are in high school. We don’t really chat, and I’m not sure if he likes me or not!
I don't think you mean to say "paranoid" but more overthinking it. You could very well be overthinking that he likes you. Simply making eye contact doesn't mean a whole lot. Also, when you think that his friends are looking at you, it may be because you have it in your mind or want to believe that. Whether it is happening in reality is a different thing.
If you don't chat and have no real contact, I will have to guess that he is not into you. There would be some more solid signs that he had a crush. He likely would try to flirt, unless he is the shy type.
My only advice if you like him is try to start a conversation. If you can get that far, you can send out some signals (flirting) and see if he responds to them. You also have to remember he is a couple of years older. His priorities might not really be girls right now.
I think you are thinking about this far too much. All you should do is talk to him and see where it leads.
Ask your Mom. She’s been through this AND that’s how you came along. You would be surprised how much your Mom and Dad know…go with Mum on this one 😎
