Bangkok has a reputation for flesh trade and sleaze that makes me shudder. What should I do to make sure that he does not fall into temptation when surrounded by all the eastern beauties, some of whom might be actually trying to pull him into bed and take his money away?

Yes, the reputation is real and those touristic "attractions" are also pretty explicit, there are countless "massage centers" with actual notices outside showing the cost for masturbation (very low) and white western men get approached often with a lot of these "offers".
His male colleagues will probably get those services at some point, and he might get dragged in.
The problem is you don't "make sure" he doesn't fall for the temptation, you can't and anyway it's not your responsibility, he is the one who should make sure he doesn't cheat because it's his responsibility. There is no such thing as a standard man who, if put in Bangkok, will automatically behave in X or Y way. Cheating is not an "instinct" and cheaters don't cheat because of the load of offer they have around, they cheat because they have low morals in general, and each guy has a different moral level. Sure he can get attracted briefly to some prostitutes but between being attracted and deciding to cheat there is a rational decision to take. If you don't trust his intentions and moral level then you have a problem in the relationship already, honestly, the foundations are not there.

I had relationships and I'm currently dating a guy, now if he goes in Thailand for a business trip I would not be concerned at all, I would think it's a fun trip, we would joke about the reputation of the country and he would tell me every night which temptations were offered to him through the day, spontaneously, implying he didn't do anything with that. He would tell me how he felt, maybe even how he was mildly aroused there and there, or something. We are allied and trust each other a lot, very open to each other and pretty chill. Both of us would end the relationship first, if that is not working, before deciding to go for someone else.
Good, but I know a number of men (especially from old generations) around my place that would not only need to go in Thailand to cheat, but they would just cheat at any given occasion (and signals are they do from ages).
So it's all up to the type of guy you decided to take.
