Now, suddenly he tells me that he is going on a trip with a girl and she has asked him to stay away from distractions. He never really mentions any girl. Why would he do that all of a sudden? Its possible he's trying to go further in your relationship by introducing another lover. That's often a problem with friends with benefits.
