Why was this boy so mean to my little stister and what advice should I give her?

I have a 13 year old stister and she's literally the sweetest little angel, I love her so much. She's so pretty, kind and fun to be around but a lot of the kids at her school are not very nice to her because of stupid stuff like the fact my parents don't let her have a smart phone and she doesn't wear designer clothes but the thing is she's actually never shown interested in them things either she's just a normal 13 year old girl who loves to ride her bike, dance and play with her dog.

I feel like a lot of pre teens have lost there innocence completely and my sister is the black sheep because she's like the 13 year olds I grew up before stuff like tiktok became a thing.

One day I picked her up from school and I saw her talking to a boy. I asked who was and she went all shy and told me his name was Scott.

I was trying to embarrass her and asked if Scott was her boyfriend. She got all annoyed like little stisters do. Later that evening she told me she'd told me she had a crush on this boy Scott and but she wanted my help. I just thought how cute it was but my little stister was having her first proper crush and that she wanted him to be her boyfriend.

I told her I'd do her hair really pretty the next morning before school and I'd let her borrow a little of my makeup.

After that she told me some of the kids were making fun of her but she didn't care because Scott said her hair looked nice.

So everything seemed to be going good between her and Scott until recently.

She said he'd made some new friends but was still making time for her. Then his birthday came up and she told me she wanted to finally ask him out on a date and bake him a favourite cake for his birthday. I honestly thought this was too cute and I even helped her.

Then I come to pick her up again and she's crying her eyes out. I tried to get her to tell me what happened. She told me Scott and his friends destroyed the cake she baked for him and called her a stupid slut.

I told her we were going to find Scott or a teacher either way someone was gonna be crying more than my little stister. She pulled me back and told me to leave it and but I'd make it worse than I already have. She said she wished I'd never helped her now and but I lied to her because she thinks she's ugly now and I should have known no boys would like her.

She won't talk to me now and I kinda get why's Scott did what he did I've been 13 once myself but I don't know how to explain it

He probably likes her too and just got influenced by the other kids. I think it's amazing that she isn't growing up with technology like and dumb apps like tiktok that do nothing but make you fat, lazy, depressed etc. So many side effect that comes with all this. The fact that she is growing up in a healthy environment is great to hear. The fact that she enjoy riding her bike, her dog and such things are wonderful and I hope it continues for a long time. Just keep giving her advice and tell her to keep her head up and to always be careful as well. Don't ever be afraid to speak up and let either you her parents or someone she trust if she doesn't feel safe. Sometimes kids need a good talk so tell her she can always trust you. Tell her the kid probably likes her but that if he is going to act like that it's not worth it. She's still young and she will meet kind good guys when she gets older. No need to rush and no guy should ever bring her down

Your love and care for your sister are awesome.

You need to back out of it. Stop getting in the middle of what she's dealing with with Scott and the others.

BUT... be involved at home. Make a safe space for her, love her, be there for her, let her talk to you.

Yeah as others are saying, let your sister make a choice , you just support her no matter the outcome.

If you can keep your cool, ask scott why he did what he did, don't intimidate him or anything, be friendly. Its a lot of work
