Why wouldn’t he answer my dm?

I followed and dmed a guy I’ve never met (he didn’t follow me back) because I wanted to get to know him but he hasn’t replied yet. Or he may have seen it already but chosen not to answer because I’m in his message requests but his accounts on public so i don’t know how it would work.

My message wasn’t weird or anything (in my opinion) - I replied to one of his stories with nothing flirty, just joining in on his interest in something. Is that weird to guys? I also wouldn’t consider myself unattractive - if anything I’d say I’m pretty. What are the reasons he wouldn’t reply even just to acknowledge it? I’m getting anxious that I’ve ruined my chances

This happened on GAG? Not that it matters.

Anyways, if he has not replied then it is a clear indication of lack of interest and clearly for him replying to you is not his priority.

It could also be possible that he is a person who is not that good with communication skills and takes his own sweet time to reply. That itself is not a good thing.

This is a great example of why trying to start anything, or getting to know someone via social media is an exercise in futility. It DOES NOT WORK.

I would imagine he either hasn't seen it because his notification of messages from nonfriends is off or he thinks you're a guy with a pink account.

Probably because he didn't know you? Or he's got a girlfriend and she doesn't want him messaging other girls.
