Is it good to not depend on a man?

Here’s the thing: I was taught not to depend on men for various reasons. And I’m glad I listened because I’ve been shown why it’s better to depend on yourself. For example, I’ve never had a man come to my rescue if I was in an uncomfortable situation. I had to do it on my own. I realized no man would ever care if I was in any kind of predicament. They would let me get hurt or worse. But, if it was another woman, they would save her in a heartbeat.

I’m curious, does it depend on how the woman looks that makes men want to protect her? Because that’s what I believe. It would make sense I guess.

Lol let me ask you a question, majority of the EMTs are… men, plumbers, contractors, handymen are… men, mechanics or auto tech or roadside assistance are… men… list goes on and on. You depend on men everyday, you just don’t depend on a man because your man doesn’t exist.. and that has a lot to do with you and your attitude. Men throughout history have laid their lives on the line for women they didn’t know. Died to be with a woman. To provide for a woman. Reason why you don’t have a man come to your aid is because they know who and what you are. And have decided you are worth the time and effort… YOU can fix that, but by the sound of it you would rather be a lesbian. Which is cool, do what you do.

I’m not into women. And if men want to leave me for dead, that’s fine. I’ll embrace death. I know I’m the bad guy in everyone’s story and that’s ok.

I would love to tell my story but no one would care or they would blame me for everything. Which is also fine because I’m use to being blamed for things that have happened to me. And I’ll admit it, it’s all my fault and they’re innocent. I’m the cause of people’s misery and that’s all I’ll always been known for.

I don’t think your anything I was speaking in general. I don’t know your case. If you want to share it, I will listen to your side. I’m speaking generally, but there will always be exceptions. So if you want to share I will listen with no judgments.

Men were never fond of me. Maybe it’s because my existence bothers them, I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ I’ve been bullied by them and ignored. If I was in an situation where men harass me, of course no one wanted to help me.

Bothered by your existence? I don’t know what that means. No one can be bothered by someone existence unless you are bothering them. If you mind your business then no one can be bothered by that.

I’ve been bullied too, that happens in society. It’s not right, but it happens. But you are better than what they say, you have to build that confidence in yourself.

How do men harass you?

Because I absolutely REFUSE to do anything just to impress men. I rather take a bullet to the head than do that.

I think everyone should be self sufficient because that gives you control over your life. Accepting help is fine, but try never to need it if you can

I would always teach my daughters (if had any) that they don't need a man. They would know how to take care of themselves. Change oil, change tire, etc...
