Why is he putting his phone on DND? Does he have a girlfriend or is he not interested?

So I just recently gave this guy my number.. he’s been trying to talk to me for awhile now. So the first day we texted for a little while then stopped I texted him the next morning but no reply so I texted him a couple hours later and still no response and the imessage didn’t say that it was delivered then the next day he texted me I asked him what was going on and he told me that he was irritated and usually put his phone on DND when he’s irritated. So I brushed it off and we talked for a little then he said he would text me later after he was done with what he was doing, he didn’t text me so I decided to text him and now my iMessages aren’t going through again still showing up blue but not showing that it was delivered. Could he have a girlfriend or he’s just not that interested in me?

I wouldn’t send anymore texts, you don’t want to come across like you’re chasing him when he’s not even responding. It’s possible that he either isn’t prioritizing his conversations with you, or just isn’t big on texting in the first place, only he could tell you with certainty. I do think texts should be very minimal as opposed to in person interactions and conversations. That’s the goal anyway, to start working towards something if you’re gonna invest it might as well be worth it.

How many messages did you send to him? Sounds like you might have sent too many and it pissed him off

I sent 2 messages.. I don’t think a good morning or a do you have anything planned for today text would piss him off.. after that message I didn’t send anything else until he texted me
