Why would a guy date a single mom if he’s doesn’t like kids?

Anonymous
I was dating this guy for a few months but I have known him for almost 3 years. before we moved in together it seemed like he did not have a problem with my child Whenever he would come over he would speak to my child, joke around with her and it just seemed like he did not have a problem with her. But as soon as he moved into my home he started acting weird he would always stay in my room. He got quiet if she would come into my room to ask me something. When his 2 year old son was coming over my house he would keep him in the room and didn’t want him playing around my house. his excuse was he didn’t want his son getting hurt because my daughter (6) is too big for them to play together. One day we were in the kitchen I called my daughter in the kitchen to get a snack while he was in the middle of telling me a story and he rushed into my room before she came in the kitchen.

One day we got into an argument and I told him I did not want him in my house anymore because it seemed like he had a problem with my child finally he admitted to not liking her and told me he did not want her around his son because she’s dirty and nasty. The very next day he apologized and claimed he doesn’t have a problem with my child he’s just not use to her coming in my room to ask me questions every 10 min and called her dirty to make me mad and he’s just not use to being around someone else’s child 24/7 i did not accept his apology a few days later he tried to contact me because he forgot to get his shirts from my house I did not respond and he text me calling my child nasty and retarted. When I put him out my child told me he put his middle finger up at her and called her a “mf clown”. This is the first man I have ever had around my child. it took me a year to introduce them and he acted so nice to her before he moved in. From day one I told him I was a single parent why didn’t he just find someone with no kids?
