So, I’m an adult woman so I kinda feel dumb for writing this on here but I need to vent…
I’ve been liking this guy for a few months and recently one of his friends/colleagues has noticed, I can tell by the way he looks at him teasingly every time I’m around and by how he keeps bringing him up in every single conversation we’ve had lately.
Yesterday he was talking to me about how much my crush wishes to text me but is too shy (which my crush denied saying it was just a joke) and asked me if I think he’s handsome. Today they called me from work (they work nearby so it’s easy to meet up) to ask me something and when I went my crush’s friend told me my crush wanted to tell me good morning, which my crush denied, AGAIN.
Is it possible that I’m just being teased about this? I mean, we’re all adults, my crush is like 28 and I’m really sad cause I was starting to think he might like me after all, I mean he’s almost 30 I thought he’d be more mature about it I guess, Although it’s not his fault completely.
Today I got fed up of the situation and I just asked his friend if he keeps bringing him up cause he thinks I like him to which he obviously responded with “oh but you know, when I bring him up it’s just cause I like to joke around” .
I know they just want to have fun or whatever but I’m sad cause at this point this all means my crush knows about my love for him and yet he doesn’t do anything about it, he won’t even make his friend stop deluding me like that. Sorry for bad grammar, I’m just too sad today tbh.
