Would it be creepy if you text a girl from Instacart delivery?

She didn’t directly give me her number nor did I ask but she said text me regarding my order. We were friendly towards each other but I was wondering have any guys been successful in situations like this?

Eh man, I wouldn't recommend texting that Instacart girl out of the blue. Even if you had a friendly chat, she was just doing her job as the delivery person. She probably said to text about the order just to be polite/helpful as a customer service thing.

I'd say there's a good chance it would come across as creepy if you hit her up for non-order related reasons without explicitly getting her number or signal that she was interested in more contact. Best bet is to just leave it at the grocery delivery interaction.

You never know how someone will take an unexpected text, and as the customer in that situation you don't want to potentially make her uncomfortable. If there was real mutual interest, she probably would have found a more obvious way to exchange numbers. Not worth the risk, my dude. Just let it be and move on to meeting someone else naturally through friends or your social circles.

Yes absolutely creepy. Additionally, most of those phone numbers are fake are owned by Instacart. Basically like a proxy. So after the order is completed, the phone number no longer works.


Just bad idea on all levels.

I don’t know if that’s something you’re even allowed to do, it’s distasteful and unwanted. You delivered the goods, she was kind to you in response, that’s just polite manners. Do not text this woman, I’d be incredibly uncomfortable with that and probably file a complaint about the delivery person being inappropriate.
