Why did he tell me all his exes are whores?

this guy treats me really well, invests so much time and energy into me. also super funny and we have same interests and get along well, he’s kind of cute and i know he likes me since he’s told me upfront.

but, whenever the topic of our personal romantic lives comes up he keeps telling me how all his exes are whores and pigs and how he’s never had a good one, and how his ex is so crazy that now no one loves him and how he hasn’t touched a woman in 4 months and he’s craving female affection. (i’ve never had an intimate relationship with a man in my life and i’ve never complained about it to a man i like….)

this made me so uncomfortable and i don’t know if i should just brush it off or see it as a red flag.

That’s a red flag. I am never going to say anything bad about my ex,

not because I still love him, but because I respect my past choices.

And if my future boyfriend ends up being my ex someday, I’ll speak of him with the same respect. Because he was my choice at some point.

“All” his exes? Yeah, he’s the problem. Calling them all whores shows resentment in my opinion, and may be unwarranted for all you know. I say red flag.
