Is it inappropriate that every (married) male coworker fawns over and flirts with this one hot married female coworker?

Anonymous

I recently started a new job in a team of engineers who have been working together as a team for over 10 years. Every coworker is around the age of 35+ and is married with kids, most of them are men. I noticed one attractive female coworker from another department (they work together) who is very popular and is always the only woman that the male coworkers invite out to lunch, coffee sessions and after work activities in the group while the other women are pretty much ignored.

It seems like all the guys flirt with her all the time and fight to spend time alone with her even though all of them are married with kids and none of them goes out of their ways to be so nice to other female coworkers. Lately she started wearing more make up and walking past our office in dresses and at the same time a certain coworker seems to be missing all day even though his backpack is at his seat. She also never breaks eye contact when she talks with them and stares and smiles at them like they are the best thing since sliced bread.

What is going on there and do you think it is inappropriate?
