Guys, Do military guys make the worst boyfriends?

It's difficult to have a long term relationship while in the military. I say this as a veteran.

First of all you're not going to be staying anywhere very long. Your income is relatively limited and slow to rise if you're enlisted. Your job could get you killed. Depending to some degree on your age, specialty, and location, your live in a kind of frat boy environment that can lead to being an asshole.

Are military guys the worst? I don't know that I'd say that, but it can be problematic.

I don’t know many military or former military. I do know some, and they fall equally on the smart to dumb register. So overall I’d say it’s not a variable.

BUT…. I did read how hard recruiters have it filling their quotas and that the average military unit is filled with those needing discipline, who would have one step into prison if not there. Which actually is a good thing. I would like my money to go to a jobs program that kept kids out of prison.

But that wouldn’t make a good bf…

We're less inclined to put up with petty games, so if that's what you are inclined to play in a relationship, that usually won't fly. We stay in shape, generally have a good attention to detail and know how to execute a mission. Take that for what it's worth.
