WHY DID A GUY DO THIS? after telling me that it’s fine if I have guy friends?

I made plans with a guy for Halloween so we can spend it together, and he ditched me but he asked me if I could come and he could make dinner for us and I agreed and him and I went and I brought up that I went to a party with some friends which included some boys and then he was quiet, I found that quite odd because whenever I say something he replies quickly, he was silent for what seemed like hours but it was for like ten minutes, and then he cooked me dinner and asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend and I said yea, another day I asked if he would be fine if I had any guy friends and he said yeah, and then he told me “he is really into me a lot”, what do you think this means, do you think he was just jealous?

He got pissed because he wanted you all for himself, even simping for you it seems. If you get together, watch out he doesn't become too controlling

I guess it will be good for you, since he seems very crushing on you, he'll do anything to make you happy, though do not take too much advantage of it. But as I said, watch out that he doesn't become too jealous and controlling, set clear boundaries
