What does it mean my guy friend only text me but doesn’t talk to me in person?

He always text me but walks by me in person, he won’t say hi if I don’t this happens a lot what should I do?

Maybe you should ask him why he doesn't want to talk to you in person. If I had to guess, however, he might be embarrassed to talk to you, OR he might be nervous to talk to you in person because he has a crush on you and feels more comfortable texting you because he doesn't feel as scared. One thing I will say is that it's a little "sus" that he won't even say, "hi" to you in person. That seems like he doesn't want people to know you guys are friends. I don't like giving advice like this because I always feel awful about saying stuff like this, but I truly think that he doesn't want to be seen with you. But as I said before, you should ask him. Don't be super pushy about it, but knowing why he does what he does would be helpful to know because it could help you determine whether he's a good friend or not. I'm sorry that someone is treating you like that.

Could just be shy. It’s usually easier to text than to actually talk to someone. Especially w a lot of younger kids today, many of them have no social skills. Approach him, say hi. Open that door that it’s ok for him to say hi to you. By chance are you ever around other men when you see him? If so that may be the reason too why he doesn’t talk to you.
