No one in their right mind really likes being mistreated. At best the man thinks the woman is just shit testing him when in reality she has no respect for him.

However speaking of right mind there are guys who have this problem usually have childhood trauma issues. It was usually from being raised by an abusive mother. This is especially bad when the guy grew up watching his mother mistreat his dad and his dad just “took it”’. It gets imprinted in his mind that is how male and female relationships operate despite it being highly disfuncional. Childhood bullying can screw all this all up to.

So some men will subconsciously try to recreate their childhood by seeking out abusive women. It’s a well known issue how some women seek out men. However society rarely acknowledged that men can have this exact same problem as well.

Also there are some men who have bizarre cuck/masochinist fantasies. It gives them some sort of weird adrenaline rush. There is one older guy (in his 60s) who openly admits on GAG he enjoys being mistreated by women which is crazy. But I think it some sort of bizarre reverse psychology goal he has. Like directly telling women he likes being mistreated will somehow make them do the opposite. Maybe it works for him occasionally.

Guys that like to be mistreated have a low self esteem. They think they aren't worth more so they take what they get. It's either because of being bullied in school, feeling bad because they don't have a good physique or something else. It's not that all guys like to be mistreated.

Most of us don't. There is a certain amount of people though (both m and f) that doesn't know love without abuse so they tend to subconsciously bond over trauma.
