my question is why do some guys or this guy think that they can get with whoever they want but they don’t realise that a well groomed woman would most likely want a well groomed guy? It’s like say a goth trying to date someone that isn’t a goth it probably wouldn’t happen

What? this is ridiculous, who said all women want groomed man? I love designers but I don't want my clone. I just like the guy on the soul (under certain limits), if it's love you cannot resonate this way. How did it turned out she didn't like him, she said it?
Eh. I'm a goth and have zero expectation for my partner to be a goth, as long as they're fine with me dressing as one. And if that guy had a great personality, maybe that stylish girl wouldn't have cared. Clearly in this case, that was not so. Still, I've seen plenty a couple that looked mismatched, but their connection was great. They don't have to look good together to be good together.
