Help me! Something weird has happened?

So recently as in today. The man who had cut me off, like two days ago. He texts me and we’d been talking all day. nothing like lovey but just honest convo about how i don’t give up hope we could work out in the future. and that i don’t want to look for someone else. i wasn’t sure he felt the same. he texted me saying he was going to pull up to my house after eating, for a min or two. i said okay, and i went to his car. he said hey how are you doing and i said okay hbu. then he gave me a single rose. and he said this is the hope i have for us, don’t let it die. and i asked him for a hug, and we hugged. then he asked for a kiss. then he left. does anyone know what this means? we texted after the interaction and he just said don’t let it die. and then back to normal conversation. then he told me what he was doing for the night and what not. but anyways. how am i supposed to interpret this?

Woah sis, that is a really confusing situation! On the one hand, him bringing you the rose and saying not to lose hope is a good sign he still has feelings. But also cutting you off and being hot/cold is weird.

My guess is he's still figuring out what he wants. Maybe part of him wants to reconcile, but another part is scared or not ready to commit again yet. Asking for the kiss too seems kinda impulsive on his part.

I think right now you need to protect your heart hun. Don't read too much into his words yet - watch his actions more closely. See if he starts consistently making you a priority again before getting too invested.

Proceed with caution. Take things slow and feel him out without putting all your eggs in his basket emotionally just yet, ya know? You deserve someone reliable who chooses you 100%.
