If a guy shuts down flirting by mentioning his girlfriend does it mean he does not find the girl he is talking to attractive?

I didn't even flirt with him but maybe he took me being more talkative than usual as flirting. He remained polite but was not as smiley and chatty as usual even though I caught him checking me out several times before and he used to be very interested in my personal life the first time we talked.

It's certainly possible, but it's definitely not guaranteed by any means. I've shut down flirting from girls who were very physically attractive because I was already in a relationship, and I know most or all of my male friends have done the same at times. I'm sure it's also true that they've shut down flirting because they weren't attracted to the girl too - and sometimes that was a lack of physical attraction, and other times it was a lack of personality/attitude attraction. Yes, believe it or not, attraction is not 100% physical for men.

No he may find you extremely attractive but isn't going to do that to his girlfriend. I would never flirt if I had a girlfriend or flirt with a girl with a boyfriend.

If she was pushing me to keep flirting. It would be more annoyed if she knew I was taken or a disappointed face that she was taken.

It's possible that he isn't interested if he gave that look when you didn't know. I would try not to make a face like that. I would probably be flattered even if I did find you unattractive but that maybe just me

thats kind of weird because he checked me out quite often and the first time we talked he tried to extend the conversation, offered to drive me home several times, asked a lot about my living situation, complimented my perfume etc. Also he remembers every little unimportant detail i tell him but that might just be how his brain works

Oh then he probably does find you attractive. I'm going to guess he was just disappointed or ashamed of himself. A cute girl starts flirting with him and he's like "oh crap"

maybe. I don't know, are those kind of questions and this behaviour just normal at work? i felt like he was trying a bit too hard to be likeable because he agreed to everything i said but maybe thats just being friendly and sociable

I don't know it's hard to tell. Plus I can't help you with it being normal at work, I work construction and I pretty much only work with guys so I don't get the chance to flirt at work.
