I have a flirty relationship with a coworker who recently told me he likes me (while drunk on a night out)
However, he has made some comments at work which make me doubt it.
- He said about going for a nap, and I said “I want to go for one too!” And straight away he said “in separate beds”
- He made a joke about me being into older men, to which I said “I’m into guys with beards”. He then said “does anyone have a razor?”
- I got my trousers dirty and he told me I needed to wash them. I then said “I can’t do that, I’ll be walking around in my underpants” to which he paused and then said “I think you should go home before you do that”

It's possible that your coworker's comments are his way of flirting or joking around with you, but they may also indicate a lack of sensitivity or boundary awareness. It's important to communicate with him about how his comments make you feel and to establish clear boundaries in your relationship, especially since you work together. If you're unsure about his intentions or uncomfortable with his behavior, it's okay to address it directly with him.
I think some of the comments he is making are to try and be safe. He's testing the waters.
doesn't seem like anything serious
he is just being flirty n having fun
