Why is there a lot of ableist men on hook up sites?

Once they figure out a girl is autistic or she tells them they block her and never speak to her again. Why are some men like this on hook up sites?

Some people don't have a full. grasp of autism. If a potential partner told me she had it, I'd want to. knoe about how it affects her and such. It mist certainly would not be a deal-breaker.

they see it as you not being “normal” and don’t want to deal with it. there’s so much stigma around autism that people often have a negative opinion about it. if autism is something that bothers them then that is not a person you want to even try with.

a lot of people dont' understand autism, but when seeking a partner, most people (regardless of gender), are looking for someone with genetic superiority. It's not a conscious thing most of the time, but we look for symmetry, signs of health/fitness, in social, physical and mental aspects. When someone finds out you are neurodivergent they are likely to dismiss you as a potential partner. One reason might be they want children and fear having kids with you they would have undesirable nervous system issues.
