Guys, Do guys say this as a way to approach a girl: "You look familiar"?

I've been told this 3 times by different guys. I'm no extrovert so i'm not that social. However, younger guys i've never met have asked me this. At a car wash, one of them asked me if i was married first and then said "you look very familiar". The other would discretely look and then pretend he was doing something else when he'd see me. When we finally had to talk about work, he finally told me that. Third guy told me at the grocery store he was 18 and then said I looked familiar, then i found out he was really 17 bc his coworker overheard him so like wtf... Is this a guys way to try to approach a girl?

I don't think I ever used that opener but actually if that's you in your profile pic, you do look familiar to me, like someone I saw on TV before or in a movie.

Like you have that kind of face that seems to kind of match patterns with a lot of faces from my memories to some degree. It has a very familiar quality to it. So it might actually be your looks that's causing them to say that.
