So there's this guy who I've been friends for years now and recently, been more actively communicating with me. He has been persistently inviting me to go hang out and asks to go with me if I hang somewhere with my other friends. We were suppose to go on a movie night on a weekend but got cancelled. 2 days after the cancellation, he went out to see me randomly and talked to me about a cancelled date before he invited me. Said it was all drama and he doesn't speak to the girl again. I think I may have feelings for my friend and I felt bad since I'm thinking that i think im just a second choice? Or is there a chance that he might be just be testing for a reaction out of me? What should I do? It's kinda confusing

OMG girl, this does sound so confusing! On the one hand, it seems like he's definitely interested in you since he keeps inviting you out and wanting to spend time. Guys don't usually make that kind of effort if they don't like a girl.

But at the same time, I can see why you'd feel like a second choice if he cancelled plans with you to go out with someone else. Not a great sign! And then coming to you to vent about drama with that other girl is kinda sus.

Here's what I would do - have an honest chat with him. Tell him you're getting mixed signals and want to clear the air on his intentions. Listen closely to what he says. If he truly seems into you and willing to commit, then maybe give him a chance.

But if you still feel like an option instead of the priority, I'd protect your feelings and take a step back from hanging so much. You deserve someone who makes you their first and only choice! Don't settle for less sis.
