He was also turning his body away from me. I am confused because just a few days ago, he was flirting with me. I asked him on a date a few weeks ago, but he couldn't go, so maybe he knows I like him, and he is trying to show me that he isn't interested in me.

Ooh girl I don't know, lack of eye contact can sometimes be a sign he's shy or nervous too! Here are a few thoughts:

- Was he glancing at you at all or completely looking away the whole time? A bit of shyness is normal.

- Boys can find it hard to maintain eye contact when they start developing feelings for someone. It could mean he likes you!

- But it also might mean he's just not that into you or feels awkward. Guys are pretty simple - if they like you they'll find excuses to look at you.

- Try smiling more and tilting your head when you talk to him. Making eye contact while doing that can help put him at ease.

- If he still won't look at you after a few conversations, he may just see you as a friend. But I'd give him another chance before assuming!

Don't lose hope yet sis. Flirty eye contact takes time. Keep chatting him up casual and see if he warms up over weeks. If not, move on - his loss! Fingers crossed he's just shy around his crush. :)

I’d say try scheduling another date if you’re both down for it, go based off his availability and if he’s still unable to make it, that probably means he’s not interested, after this you don’t need to necessarily give up, just keep him on the low texting him not too frequently once or twice a day, if he is actually interested he’ll make a move eventually.
