Boyfriend said to my former colleagues that he hasn't seen me recently. Why is that?

We worked together... but no longer.

We are now a couple (at least in my mind) and a former coworker of mine called me yesterday to ask how I'm doing and that he spoke with my boyfriend (not knowing he is a boyfriend) about me... and that boyfriend said he hasn't seen me recently.

Why is he hiding our relationship from them?

He might either:

1. Want privacy until the relationship develops further.

2. Feel embarrassed.

3. Doesn't want to hurt his chances with someone else.

Or 4. Is a compulsive liar.

You should ask him why he denied seeing you and ask him what he wants from you and clarify the relationship status.

Feel embarrassed about what?
I mean he kinda talked bad about me in the past in front of them... so I guess he didn't want to lower his level

Well I'm not saying it's the case since I don't know his thoughts, but what I mean is he might think they'll think lesser of him if he's dating you for whatever reason.
But the best thing to do would be to ask him why he's hiding you
