So, my friends with benefits was acting a little weird on our last "adventure " like he wanted to cuddle, he was asking me why was I so hostile which normally he doesn't have a problem with, he had also mention that he knew of the people I hang around and knew I wasn't hostile with them and even asked if I needed a hug and proceeded to cuddle me for some time , which was something we never do its normally jus casual sex then one of us leave , but he wanted me to stay the night saying he'd drop me home in the morning, and even during intimacy he was a lot more touchy then usual. Could he be catching feelings or am I over thinking?

You know this is one time where I don't think you are overthinking it. He is crossing more into behavior I would associate with people dating or in a new relationship. Spending the night and so on. At least maybe he is testing the waters to see what your reaction is to things other than just sex. I guess it depends on what you want. If you have in interest in more then you might want to agree to some of that stuff. If you draw a hard line at just sex and nothing more than make sure he knows it. Just flat out refuse the other things that are making you think he wants more. He will get the picture eventually. Problem is he might not like it and there goes the friends with benefits because he is mad you don't have the same (new) feelings he does. That is one problem with that arrangement.
