Guys, Why are some guys so dramatic?

I wouldn't really know, as I tend to react to most of what happens in a much calmer manner. In the case of close interactions with women, or mostly a lack of them, I suppose the society might be to blame, shaming men for being single, even though it's only harder and harder to find a woman with whom it's safe to initiate any real-life interaction, forget marriage. At some point, it becomes exceedingly frustrating and the only two options left are to simply laugh it off or to react in a way similar to how the man in this (fictional) situation reacted.

All people are dramatic. They actually all always have been. Not everyone single human is hyper drama but 80% of all the people who have ever lived

it looks different among men and women in how it’s carried out but both sexes (there are 2) have always been full of plenty of it for millennia

We just have social media and round the clock news so we are more aware of it

I am far from dramatic. I tend to be very even keeled and the one in the group that isn't phased by much.

I have a couple of guy friends that are the opposite and often call me when thing go awry for them.

I'm guessing that it's because they are seeking attention (ever seen a gay guy with a group of girls? You know exactly who I'm talking about) and also partially just because of their social circle.

There's also a big difference between someone who's really dramatic and someone who just pretends to be because they like making fun of themselves or the situation.

Some guys are very calm -- my faves -- but some can be super dramatic about stuff. I don't know why. It's their energy as well as the stuff they say.

In all of my relationships I've had my girlfriends were always the dramatic ones. They all agreed with me on that and told me several times in our relationships.

I never start the fights. I'm always the one being logical and trying to calm them down. And when they seem to not be able to calm down, I walk away or just go silent.

I have enough drama with family in my life. I don't need more drama. They always tend to apologize after and say they were in the wrong 😂

Hmm. Sometimes... but not all dramatic guys are calm and collected. Some are downright dramatic and ornery. Perhaps it comes off as "aggressive" rather than "dramatic" bc "aggressive" seems more masculine than "dramatic"... but they're basically the same... Some guys just don't keep their s**t together...

Yeah I don't know why some women love the yelling and slapping. I know a bunch of “loud and louder” type people. It’s not pleasant.

I admittedly get loud with my family bc we’re all laughing and messing with each other, but I don’t like to yell or be yelled at, let alone smacked around (which I felt the sting of while married as you know).
