Why is it that if a girl tells a guy, "I want to fuck you", it's a great compliment to him but, if a guy says it to a girl, she takes it as an insult?

Either way it's very crass.

Some guys appreciate the direct statement from a woman because it turns them on, however this isn't the case with all guys, and nor should it be a normative expectation.

Similarly, if a guy and gal are in a relationship and he finds a private, romantic/sexy way to say it to his girlfriend/wife (e. g., "Babe, you look amazing tonight, but I can't wait to get you all to myself at home...") that will take you farther than simply saying, "I want to fuck you" like a neanderthal.

I'm thinking ore like, you're at a bar or party and someone sees you, is VERY attracted and flat out says they wanna fuck you. If a girl goes up to a guy and says it, even though girls AREN'T SUPPOSED to think that way, it's perfectly fine. Even if the guy doesn't take her up on it but, if a guy says it to a girl, she'll probably call the fuzz on him and have him arrested as a sexual predator.
In the meantime, if he goes to her and casually chats her up to the point where she likes him and they go off someplace together and end up fucking, she can have him arrested for sex through seduction. Whereas, if she just says to her that he wants to jump her bones and she agrees, she CAN'T have him arrested for sex through seduction.

I've often wondered this myself. I figure it's the old "The lady and the cowboy" spin. A woman holds the keys to sex. If she is not ladylike then it's a revolving door. A guy has to be ready at all times in order to catch an opening concerning most women. Why do girls scream and act ridiculous watching a singer perform? We're supposed to be the horndogs but they turn into lustful sluts like when Elvis, the Beatles and such shake it up. Guys are laidback in comparison.
