I gave this guy I like my number at work. We’ve had chemistry since we met and it’s obvious in both our eyes. Well, at least in my opinion. I know he likes me, asked if I had kids and if I was single. Days later I gave him my number. He didn’t text the same day or the next day… although he did say something came up he had to deal with but he was going to text me. Is there some 3 day rule when a guy gets a number he text? Or is he uninterested. I am worse at hints than men when they’re being flirted with :(

Most men don't play those kinds of games - but sometimes they get busy. For example, I have a number of different skills, and this means that my family and my friends all call me when they need help in areas that I have skills in. I'm not mad about it, and they often pay me or do nice things for me in return, but that doesn't change the fact that, very often, my days off or my time off gets unexpectedly interrupted and occupied, because someone's printer can't print a term paper due tomorrow, or someone's water heater is leaking, or someone's computer has a virus, or someone's dog got loose and needs to be found and captured - or whatever the emergency is.
If he owns a pickup, you can bet every person he's ever met will call him for help moving something, help bringing something home from Home Depot or the lumbar yard, or help getting something unstuck.
I don't know this guy, so I have no idea what he might have going on, but men often THINK they have time to themselves only for their friends or family to impose upon them and burn up their free time - and they still have to mow the grass, change the oil, or whatever else at home - so HIS wants often have to be put on the back burner.
My girlfriend complained about this one time, so for the next two weekends, I answered every call on speakerphone so she could hear. She couldn't believe how many "help me" calls I got over a weekend.
Anyone who follows those pretend rules are too immature for a healthy relationship anyways
I would text that night.
He is going through stuff w his dad rn cuz he’s in the hospital also so I think that’s also a factor
