So I am 29F, and I started seeing a co-worker he’s 51M. We were very flirty and attracted to each other from the very beginning. We come from different cultures/back so that was a little intriguing. From the beginning he was very affectionate and expressed how much he liked me and always wanted to spend time together, he even said he loved me very early on. I saw all of this as a red flag so I started pulling back a little. I notice he also started pulling back. Ever since then it’s been inconsistent behavior. When I’ve tried to break it off, he begs me that he does want something serious and I’m not just for fun but he acts sketchy.

He won’t sleep over, he doesn’t anwser the phone at night really. He’ll text me late but the times Ives called him late, he did not answer.

Blurry then, I don't know exactly how much you know about his life and how much you can talk openly with him, but the only possible way to get a clearer view is to "call him out". Getting him to talk about his intents with you because it's the only way to dissipate this mist.
