Why Higher levels guys always assume they are right and so arrogant?

Would so rather get a comment from someone lower level, a girl, or AI. Like it does not take any real effort to get high on this site. So why act like they own it?

Kinda given up commenting on higher level questions cause they only want Thier own answers. Heavens forbid you give your opinion that differs, or a woman's opinion!

Would so rather get an AI comment then one of the higher levels long essays on why your wrong for even asking.

For sure. A lot of guys at higher levels act like they’re untouchable because they’ve put in the work to get there, which can lead to some serious arrogance. It’s like they think their status gives them the authority to dismiss others' opinions, especially if those opinions come from lower-level folks or women. They might feel threatened by differing views, fearing that if they admit someone else might be right, it’ll somehow undermine their position.

So, when these high-level guys get defensive or shut down discussions, they're often just trying to protect their status and keep their perceived expertise intact. They don’t realize it can come off as condescending or dismissive, which just makes the environment toxic.

This whole dynamic can really ruin the vibe for everyone else. People come to these platforms to share ideas and learn from each other, not to be talked down to or ignored. It’s way more rewarding to have a discussion where everyone feels heard and valued, regardless of their level.

Could not agree more. On a criminal jury trial, a few years back, on entering the 'Jury Room to 'deliberate, one juror, made the comment..."Did you see the look on the attorneys' face when..." ? This bozo beside me put his hand in the mans face and said: "We're not interested in that" I was flabbergasted and really ANGRY !

This moron was an Engineer with Lockheed Aircraft/ I was with Ford Aerospace.

I turned to him and said 'STOP"! I asked his name, and gave him mine, and asked him "When do you to decide what WE are interested in"? "You owe this man an apology, now, or I am going to ask the judge to remove you from this jury for trying to intimidate another juror"

He did apologize and guess who became the jury Foreman?

THESE self important assholes are everywhere, and you have to step on them to keep them in their place.

Your absolutely right as it takes nothing more than wasting more time than others just answering questions one after the other building the points or whatever to raise your level here. Has absolutely nothing to do with smarts whatsoever.
My conclusion then would be any of the above choices you gave could fit that person. I wish this site was back to like it was when I first joined back in 2008

Dumb Men -  Agreed Losers With No Life -  Agreed Needy For Validation -  Agreed Bitter Men -  Agreed Women who are higher level are like this too -  Agreed Basically it all varies from person to person and different scenarios & different circumstances will bring out different aspects of people. Now imagine you have done one thing literally 1000 times and spend 80 hours a week to get somewhere in your career. And someone new comes to you with "better solution" that he/she figured out last night before their bed time. How would you react yourself if you had to explain them why their plan does not work. While your ACTUAL work is not getting done because you have to argue to this idiot who thinks they have all figured out. They look like arrogant but they are real hard working people and definitely not stupid or losers.
