+1 yBecause the majority of men are superior in many ways when compared with the majority of women. Of course the opposite is also true and the majority of women are superior in many ways when compared with the majority of men. For example men flat out win physical strength and handling stress, but women have better mental health earn more through crowdfunding, better parents, etc.

Haha I've had this conversation countless times and my answer is always the same. You can't compare the two really. It's like trying to compare firefighters to cops - how would you measure that? A firefighter's job is to fight fires, a cop's job is to catch criminals. If you measure superiority by the ability to fight fires, the firefighter wins. If you measure superiority by the ability to catch criminals, the cop wins. But to claim that a firefighter is superior because they're better at fighting fires makes no sense when that isn't what the cop is supposed to be good at.
The same goes with the physical strength example. Some idiots think that having more physical strength makes a man superior, but that's not what women are built for. Some idiots think that women are superior because they can carry children, but that's not what men are built for. - +1 y

@Athena223 mental health is different from suicide, people don't usually kill themselves over stress, it is usually more over emotions they don't know how to handle, for both men and women. That said, read the link I posted if you want to go over the statistics yourself.

Suicide is much deeper than that of course, substance abuse, mental health, family history, relationship difficulties, etc. (stress can be a factor but usually it's because they don't have a way to deal with stress). I'm just making the point that stress does not directly lead to suicide like that.

An inability to handle stress and lashing out are signs of low testosterone and high cortisol (stress hormone). Cortisol and testosterone don't mix - the more you have of one of those hormones, the less you have of the other. Modern men have lower testosterone levels and higher cortisol levels than men of previous generations, and I think that this has a lot to do with the high suicide rate and high rate of depression. However, what this means is that the more testosterone you have - the male hormone - the more capable you are at handling stress. In fact studies done on men in positions of power, who have to deal with huge amounts of stress, show that they tend to have high t levels. That's how they get there.

@Athena223 as someone who has been suicidal, I can tell you you're wrong. Stress is quite low on the risk of suicide factors. It only ranks on the list because of how it interacts with other issues such as not having people to open up to, not having an outlet to deal with stress, and using suppression or repression as a way to deal with stress.

Exactly you just said it’s because they don’t have a way to deal with stress you’re contradicting yourself. Issues cause stress and no I’m not wrong as people feel like committing suicide for different reasons. How is stress quite low on suicide factors when emotional or physical problems cause you to stress. You’re not making sense.

@Athena223 it is not a contradiction. Stress doesn't directly play onto suicide like that, People can be suicidal and report low levels of stress, people can report insanely high levels of stress and not be suicidal, it isn't a correlation for fuck sake. Cont.

Stress and suicide only correlate when there is a failure for the person to be able to handle their stress, meaning there are other issues causing the suicidal depression and the stress is only a contributor. Of course there is a link, being suicidal and in depressing situations is stressful, being abandoned is stressful, the things making them suicidal stress them out, it can be linked in a few different ways but it is NOT a direct contributor like that. To try and link suicide and stress like that is dishonest and in my opinion rude to everyone who has been suicidal, to summarize their problems to stress, how dare you?

My point is: you're not going to date a man who isn't superior to the average woman. If he's 5'4", 120lbs, works as a shoe salesman, and has the wit of a brick, you're going to reject him.

That's what most men consider to be the problem with women. Y'all have this idea that even though a man does all the heavy lifting, all the outdoor work, pays for everything, takes care of vehicles, fixes what's broken, figures out the problems, protects and cares for you, helps cook and does housework, etc... you're still equal in everything because you inherently do a couple of things better. My ex wife was the same way.

Sense of smell is better, we smell better, we comprehend things better. We aren’t hit by the desire to have sex 30 times a day. Better at balance better at English. We don’t go bald/are hairlines don’t start to recede. We see colors in more variations we deal with pain better, we are better at multitasking and etc. Would you like me to go on?

Most of that is questionable or carries no advantage in real life. Sense of smell is definite, but doesn't correlate with any higher ability. Smelling better is subjective and really only factors into sex. Lower libido isn't much of an advantage at all, and is due to less testosterone, which also factors into competitiveness. Women not going bald doesn't mean anything. Seeing more colors doesn't make you better at anything except picking out colors.
Women dealing with pain better is partially false and partially subjective. Women consistently feel more pain for the same injury, go to the doctor for pain more often, and take more painkillers. Just because a woman experiences pain during childbirth (because she has to) doesn't make women deal with pain better in general. Men can usually experience an injury and keep on doing what we need to do. Advantage: men.
Multitasking is great if you have multiple minor tasks to carry out. Complicated or difficult tasks require focus. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Basically, all of the advantages that women have over men are exactly what makes them better homemakers.
Better sense of smell for cooking. Better color recognition for decorating. Lower libido allows her to use sex as a bargaining tool. Multitasking is great because you have to keep up with kids/cooking/dishes/cleaning/pets etc simultaneously.
Guys your age might be saying that out of ego, but as they grow older and mature they become more considerate. Yes, I do agree that in some sense guys are more superior - in strength/power, the ability to protect, etc. I honestly think its quite an attractive trait. I'd say be superior because, in the end, they will have that one special woman which will guide and support them in other areas of life. Mother Nature's creation of men and women ~~ we are super compatible.

Out of those only about fourty million are nineteen or lower and only about thirty is below fifteen. Both of those numbers are relatively low with roughly nine out of ten Americans being way older...

Superior how? To whom? At what? That's a pretty open-ended question. There's statistics, so I think I'm stronger than most women. If I see a woman at the gym curling another member, I don't think I'm stronger than her. I don't consider myself "superior" to her at either point in that. I cook better than every woman I've ever known. That doesn't make me superior, it makes me superior at cooking. Am I answering the question? I'm not sure if I'm being helpful or not.

It does make us superior. If women could do those jobs they would. No one's stopping women from putting on hard hats, harnesses, and overalls to wade through sewage. They're fighting for equality in air conditioned rooms. Instead of innovating they're copy pasting women in oceans 8 and ghost busters reboots under the misguided idea that women are funny too (they're not that's why most comics are men).

Point is, on the whole men are funnier, they do the hard jobs others won't, they're physically stronger and faster, and occupy the highest and lowest ranges of IQ. Not that IQ is a great metric for intelligence, but it helps explain why most of the greatest minds and criminals are male. Women on average (and you can look this up) are generally smart but they rarely get up to the level of genius or savants.

Not sure you know what a fact is. Your opinion could be supported but you refuse to do that. I have provided some support for my view which you are open to dispute but won't. And you continue attack me personally instead of my points. Unfortunately, the attacks of a stranger who whom I have no reason to care about (and thus whose opinion of me means next to nothing) doesn't really work for me. Not sure why anyone bothers but people try on this app anyway.
