Why do most guys mock tall women and say they’re masculine?

I am so fed up with some men and even some women mocking tall women, especially when they aren’t petite looking and wear heels.
I am done! They show interest until you mention their height or stand up.
I am 5’9” which is tall for a woman but not very tall and I get garbage for it. I heard my former friends (who were all guys) that they wouldn’t go out with a girl that is taller or bigger than them. One of them said that I have no shape and I have broad shoulders and he much rather date short women. He said he likes taller girls. What gives? Yeah I don’t have a pear or hourglass shape (I wish I had those shapes). I may be a ruler shape but I’m still a female!
Society is so brutal to tall women over 5’7.

"Most men don't" is the simple answer. I'm a man and have been around men for decades. Only once have I ever heard what you're describing, but it wasn't a man who did it. It was a boy in high school. The vast majority of men don't care. A fair number of men may not be attracted to tall women, but don't make a big deal out of it. And a very, very small number of men may mock women. I imagine these few individuals are incels or wildly immature and try to make themselves feel better by putting someone else down.

Either way the guys are ignorant. I'm 6' and 220lbs. When I was a bit heavier, almost 250lbs, one of my dearest friends was a girl of 5'. We sang in church choir together. Both in our early 20s.

I'm a tactile guy. Even more back then. Didn't know she knew some judo, so when I tickled her after choir practice - like a little sister, nothing more - she picked me up and threw me about 6' across the room. Like I was her big brother.

Much laughter ensued. Mostly at my expense. And rightly so.

The point is, guys are scared a girl can do that. Mostly they think a taller or bigger girl will be the one that does it, not the 5' tall, 85lbs girl.

Guys are basically afraid they'll get shown up. It's not fair and it has zero basis in reality.
