Why do nearly all men text the same opening message?

"Hi" to see if you will respond. Men do want to invest time writing a long message if girls seldom respond. The next two questions are because they can't think of anything and because they want confirmation that you will not leave.

The next question is because sex in on their mind and that seems like a non-offensive question that will not offend and drive you away. If you tell them what you are wearing, they will ask, "Are you wearing a bra and panties?" If you answer the following question is, "What color are your panties and bra?

A positive response to that opens the door to asking about your sex activities. I know because that is how it almost always is with me. I block after they become too crude such as asking "Do you (blank) down there?" Before it gets to that point, usually I give a warning but half the men ignore warnings.

That being said there are times the entire profile is bland. There is no extra information in the bio. So Im not exactly in a position to be funny or quirky or interesting


So I’m left with a general observation like “hey, I like your style”
Or some variation on that


Bottom line is: if all men are texting you “hey” then maybe rethink the content of your profile to give an insight into who you are helping kickstart conversations

A lot of guys have never developed very good social skills and don't know any better, which is like 90% of it. A lot of guys also complain that women's dating profiles don't give them very much to go on. Back when I was on dating apps, I had a similar complaint.

What kind of info are you including about yourself? That could be one way to improve your results.

I don't know, but why are most women's profiles on dating sites almost always blank with no description of their qualities, interests, long term life goals, and when they look for in a potential partner?

I guess low effort from women gets low effort from men.

Fakes and half deleted profiles. Feels like half the dating apps don't fully delete girls profiles fully! Probably cause they know that it's nearly all guys.
