How do you deal with failure with men?

I try hard to not make unnecessary eye contact with my work crushes

Some are worse behaved than others. But with one who isn’t as horribly behaved I still look at his eyes in passing like today. Maybe it’s ok if I only try to lowkey make contact with him passively but not the other idiots.
I feel like he’s warming to me which has me curious now.
