Does he actually wanna hang out/go out with this response?

me and my friend was slightly flirting yesterday in class. We were talking about bars and I told him to take me to the ones he talked about. He also told me to introduce him to some part of the city and bars too. At the end before we separated, I asked when does he wanna go. He said we should definitely go to the bars, but he can't think the top of his head as he is a busy guy and he will let me know. We normally don't hugs, but he hugged me goodbye. I also knew he was in a hurry because he wanted to go see our school's game night and so he did looked a little distracted at the end.

With that kind of response... I'm not sure does he actually wanna do things outside campus or hang out/do a date?

Hang up your romantic feelings for now and remember he’s just your friend. Don’t set any sort of expectation that you wouldn’t set with one of your girls, that way there’s no disappointment or waiting around. Obviously only time will tell whether he actually wants to hang out or not, so try not to drive yourself crazy.

No problem at all🤍 when it comes to treating him like a regular friend, I guess that depends what kind of talking and texting comes with that. In a general sense it’s pretty hard for two single, straight individuals to remain purely platonic unless that exists under certain conditions, the biggest condition being that one isn’t attracted to the other or it’s a mutual thing. Now that you like him, I don't know if you can return to the simplicity you have with you actual friends. So in the end I guess that’s really up to you, and if you can choose one side or the other.
