What does it mean when a guy says whatever happens happens?

so I just met this guy named A. I think earlier today and he goes to my university. He’s about two years younger me. We met on bumble. We were talking about the election about our lives and dislikes. So I had asked him what is he looking for the app and then he responds: “probably a relationship.” But then I asked him what kind and then he responds “idk tbh whatever happens happens” he did match with me first, and he came with an opening line about where would I want to go on vacation. So I’m wondering, what does he mean by that?

so apparently he unmatched with me yesterday and yeah, I mean I’m trying the apps called Bumble and then Duet, but the problem is with the Duet thing everyone else is way too far away from me and I’m trying to edit it in the settings, but it doesn’t work.

Well, you know as well than I do that those dating apps are actually hookup sites. Thus, when he states that "whatever happens happens", he meant nothing less than to get into your pants.

It is not a secret that guys going on those sites are only after one thing and really don't have any intentions whatsoever to be in a relationship. Those people on those sites are only there for the sole purpose of having friends with benefits that they can dispose of once they have used them. Something like a tissue you dispose after use.

Very few guys set out to find a life partner. It just sort of happens. So his statement to me means he's probably close to be ready to settle down IF the right woman comes along. Women want the relationship and look for a man to fit the bill. Men want a woman and the relationship is a side effect.
