My boyfriend said he thinks about me but he doesn’t even text me?

I texted my boyfriend and told him that he hadn’t texted me today he must won’t really thinking about me and he said “I’m always thinking about you”

Was he just saying that to say it because he didn’t text me today and left me on read last night

I message someone every day and I have always told him that I don't "Expect" him to message me back until he feels up to it.
In my opinion I think that expecting a text every single day is asking a lot for anyone. We all have bad days and days when we get home from work and just don't want to do anything - period.

If it was me I wouldn't pressure anyone to have to text me or they're going to have to pay the price for not doing it.
I wouldn't put that kind of pressure on anyone.
