I want to start off by saying I am not being judgmental and I’m genuinely happy for the guy don’t get me wrong. I think that it sends a message there really is someone for everyone.

This guy I knew I went to school with. He had some cognitive issues. He could talk and everything he was just needing extra help and you could tell he has issues. He also I think was very sheltered at home you could tell that he was obvious to many references and unfortunately other kids took advantage of that. To embarrass him.

But he was genuinely a nice person. But he’s engaged to a woman whose just drop dead gorgeous. Many people are pretty shocked and in disbelief that he got her. I think she’s also a super nice person as well.

Is he hot or intellectually gifted despite his cognitive issues? That might explain it. If not, I guess he just has a really nice personality.

It frequently happens. I know several people who have similar experiences. A good personality can overcome most hurdles in life.

I get why people might be surprised, but as long as they're both happy and treating each other well, that's really all that matters. Gotta respect it, you know? There's definitely someone out there for everyone, even if it doesn't always fit the typical mold.
