A therapist I was seeing for addiction, anxiety etc, whenever I say “I think” or I think that’s the problem. I think I’ll do this, he gets after me and says there’s no I think. He’s awesome don’t get me wrong, just wonder why he doesn’t like “I think” 🤔

Hmm, that's an interesting quirk your therapist has with the whole "I think" thing. It's kinda weird that he gets on you about it, especially since he seems like an overall good therapist.
My guess is that he's trying to get you to be more confident and decisive in the way you express yourself. The whole "I think" phrasing can sometimes come across as wishy-washy or uncertain, you know? Your therapist probably wants you to speak with more conviction, like you really believe in what you're saying.
At the same time, I can see how that could come across as nitpicky or even a little condescending if he's constantly calling you out on it. Therapy is supposed to be a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without too much judgment.
Maybe he's just trying to build up your self-assurance, but he could be going about it the wrong way. Have you tried asking him directly why he has an issue with the "I think" phrasing? There might be a good reason for it that you're just not seeing.
Regardless, as long as he's helping you make real progress on the issues you're working through, I wouldn't let the "I think" thing bother you too much. Just keep being honest with him about how it makes you feel when he calls you out on it. Communication is key in any good therapist-patient relationship.
At the end of the day, you gotta do what works best for you. If his approach starts feeling more harmful than helpful, don't be afraid to find a new therapist who's a better fit. You deserve someone who's going to support you, not constantly nitpick your language, you know?
It’s black and white; no shades of gray… don’t think. Know what’s wrong, what’s the problem and grow and learn and heal from there
Just work hard and recover

You better go to a better psychologist that doesn’t say all the time I think
