Ok, the "Friend zone " is not this nice thing girls do for guys they aren't attracted to. More accurately, it should be called the "manipulation zone". Yes guys should be smart enough to figure out that what they want isn't going to happen, but guys are pretty literal, and assume women are too, (big mistake). They hang around hoping you'll realize how great they are and fall in love with them. You know it isn't going to happen, you knew it 20 minutes after you met them. You didn't tell them directly "Nice try, but sorry, no." I think what you perceive as the "enemy zone" is guys being up front. I don't think most guys hate women they aren't attracted to, they just don't lead them on.
