Be honest, someone writes you a long message/email (1+ page), do you read the whole thing or just skim?

A few of my guy friends as well as someone I’ve been connecting with tend to skim messages from their friends/relatives/etc.

How likely are you to read through something that’s a page or longer? So you just skim and consider the task complete?

I’ll read whatever a person sends me 100%

I’ll read the message/email 50-75%

I’m skimming, picking out key words. I’m good. (Reading under 50% of what’s sent.)

I just look for important dates or times. Anything more than a direct request or question I just ignore.

Really depends on the context. If it's about a particular subject to discuss I'll read the whole thing since I enjoy reading in general. If it's stuff about their day and they write it like a high schooler like some of my friends do, I'll just skim it for the important details. If there even are any.

A relative or friend, and a rare occurrence, I'd give the information the 100% of my attention it deserves!

If it is something serious I read it, if it is something personal. It depends on who sent the message. If sender is an important person for me I read it and reply but if sender is someone I don't like I can skim it.

It depends on who sends it honestly. If it's from my wife you better believe I read the entire thing, and save it. Anyone else I skim.
