Do guys sense it when they are being checked out by a girl?

Are guys aware of this happening? Are they clued up on the signs a girl might be giving or does it have to be super obvious for you to notice?

Yes, I get all the usual flirting tactics women think are so sly and subtle. The "look" or locking eyes repeatedly, the shy smile, the hair flip or nervous hair twisting, the migrating to stand near me, the bizarre comments to start a conversation, the often odd compliment, questions about my drink or the menu, touching my arm, shoulder, chest, etc, etc etc.

I had two women watching me recently. I knew them slightly. But I was about 30 feet away and another woman started chatting me up. Apparently she was touching me repeatedly and often. I was aware of it but didn't assume anything more than "oh, she's one of those touchy people.

That conversation ended and I wandered back around to the group where those two women had been, according to my buddy, counting how many times this other woman had touched my arm, smiled at me, flipped her hair, etc.

So one of these women started talking to me. She says, that woman was all over you. I say no, we were just talking. She rolls her eyes and says, men are so clueless, she was all over you. LOL, I played the clueless part and told her I didn't really notice. She was exasperated. In reality I was aware of what was going on the whole time. I was simply ignoring, deflecting the attempt to flirt (first woman) and the attempt to find out if I was clueless (second 2 women).

Often, we notice some signs but ignore them or chalk them up to "she's just being friendly" to avoid the risk of mistaking politeness for romantic interest and making fools of ourselves. Sometimes, we really just don't notice anything unusual. Sometimes, we play it off because we're not interested.

Most women would be better off being much more obvious than they think they are when it comes to showing interest.

I'm pretty observant.. I don't know about sensing it per say, but I am somewhat savvy on being able to tell when a girl is trying to sneakily admire me..

I think it used to have to be obvious for me to notice. I may have gotten better at noticing it, but it might because I get a lot more glances then when I was 18.
