If a guy is chivalroustowards a female, like they approach the same entrance, he pauses and gestures that she should go first, is he attracted to her?

He always makes it appoint to be chivalrous toward sme when the opportunity presents himself, but he rarely makes conversation with me yet he's friendly with almost ever female in the class and talks to them.

No that doesn't mean that he is attracted to you. That means he has good manners and is polite. If he doesn't make a point to talk to you yet still opens doors or allows you to enter first it just means he is a polite guy and nothing more. I am guessing he does that for anyone. How would you know otherwise unless you stalk him and watch him interact with other women? Don't take it to mean anything and honestly don't over analyze these small gestures that people do. Just because your local barista gives you a smile and an extra cocktail napkin for your coffee doesn't mean he is into you either. It just means some people put extra effort into being nice to others and this is no different.

I do that for everyone man or woman, so no it’s not necessarily a sign of attraction, unless he doesn’t do it for anyone else, then it might be

Maybe that’s just the way he is he’s being polite. If you’re into someone then talk to him and just see how he feels about you.
