If a male coworker offers to spend time on work related tasks that don’t really require meeting up does that mean anything?

I mean if you work in different teams and you ask a question and rather than just say the answer or put it in an email, he offers to sit with you one to one, sometimes spending 1/2 hr sitting with me.

Usually when I ask a colleague a question it’s a direct answer or not lots of time spent with them, unless it’s on a direct project which it’s not.
