If my male coworker stuck up for me is he interested?

Hi all
so I was creeped on at work today by a table of old men (I’m a server) and I’m new so I haven’t talked to people much and I think this guy is cute but we haven’t talked too much yet, he heard me telling another coworker about getting creeped on and he was like “I’ll go tell them to shut the fuck up right now” and was acting super protective and offered to take my drinks to that table so I wouldn’t have to and I found this attractive as he was sticking up for me. I’m wondering if it’s a sign he thinks I’m cute at all or if he’s just a good guy? What do you all think?:)

Could be just a good guy, at my job we have this guy that works in the warehouse department and we call him our bodyguard because he will confront any guy that purposely acts pervy or saying something that isn't appropriate. Like one time this guy called me cute and kept giving me compliments, I noticed him following me around, I walked in the back and when our " bodyguard " heard what happened he asked me how he looked and he went to look for him.

As far as the guy you work with, he may have just been being protective. A gay guy in my dorm used to be like that with the female dormies.
