On avgerage are Eastern European men more violent or is it just a stereotype?

Personally I have a hard time believing it is not a stereotype, I have lived in a neighborhood with lots of Eastern European immigrants long enough and seen how sometimes young Russian men and Ukrainian men behave: they actually try to pick up fights with random people for no reason sometimes. Also, Polish men are violent, one thing I know is that you should never pick up a fight with Russian man or Ukrainian man or Polish man. My experience is anecdotal though.

They grew up in a culture where dad had a higher likelihood of beating up mom and the kids. Yeah they are something else.

Then how come German men are well behaved even though they drink a lot as well? Is it due to the strict law enforcement regarding violence?

More cultured and mild-mannered, I'd say. Also, we drink more beer than vodka.

Anyway it's true that on average Eastern European men are a lot more aggressive and violent than German men. Eastern European men don't mind getting into fist fights to settle disputes.
