Well, it all depends what you want. If it is something trivial and without negative consequences for you, then you can ask him. If, on the other hand, what you want to ask is possibly jeopardizing your health or integrity, then it is a bad thing to ask him and let him make the first move but always bearing in mind that you should not jump in feet first and overthink everything at that stage.

Some things are best left for the guy to ask, mainly if those things are the kind of stuff that guys your age are interested in.

Just be careful with your answer and do not agree to just everything.
