I’ve been dating this guy and im confused about his behaviour lately?

I met this guy about 1,5 years ago and we were texting but i ghosted him. Time passed but a couple of months ago he reached out and we actually kicked it off this time.

At the beginning we were constantly texting completely glued to our phone.

We started meeting up irl, he is always very emotional and touchy in real life, he helps me take off my coat, puts my shoes away, always hugs, he says i missed you lot of times and complains if i dont say it back, he wants to cuddle, he always compliments something about me my outfit, hair, lashes or my cooking saying its his favourite meal. He also said “i love you” out loud and things like “i want you bad, i dont know what you do to me” or that he is addicted to me.

He never wants me to leave, he picks me up, he sits me on his lap. He is not afraid to be goofy he tickles me or he makes jokes etc

And yeah we were intimate, he is a giver he always asks if i came or how many times i came and if it hurts or not.

My question/problem is

The “texting all day” stopped. I dont expect him to text me all day of course, just maybe a check in the morning and then a longer conversation later. Nowadays but especially since our last date he only texts around 6pm or 7pm.

So is he losing interest or does he just feel more secure and relaxed and doesn't think texting is big deal?

He could be busy yes. You will have to look at more then this to see the truth.

-Is he still acting the same way around you in and out of the bedroom?

-Is he still doing things he did like taking care of you and saying positive things like compliments and that.

If so it might be he is busy, but I would ask him why he became like this and remember his answer. Give him the benefit of the doubt but be on the look out for contradicting things he says. And keep an eye out for things that do not add up in what he says and dose.

Nothing about his attitude changed, whenever we meet he is the same or even better than last time. Even while texting he isn't dry he still jokes calles me pet names and flirts sometimes. Its just his texting behaviour changed to this. I used to get at least a good morning. Tiktok bullshit probably got to my head

It really could be he is busy, and it could be not you are boyfriend/girlfriend he is in not the getting mind set, but the maintaining one. Some things you do to get attention and attract the person you like. But after you have them you stop them.

I will definitely ask him why he stopped. And tell him you like it and wish he did them still. He might start again but keep in mind it might be to much for him to do on a regular basis, maybe he can for a week or so.

Keep in mind if he can't don't push it as he might back off do to the feeling of you being to demanding.

As it sounds like he still likes you, he just turned up his personality to attract you, and then after you both started the relationship he turned back down to his normal again.

This guy was after you before you ghosted him and you. After he reconnected, you let your defense go and he used that weakness and then he knew that all he needed was to be a bit of a slimy or even sleazy person. Now that he got your attention and what he wanted, the novelty is slowly fading away and I fear that this attention is going to disappear slowly as time passes.

I mean, it is your business if you want to be intimate after a short while. What do you know from this guy that he has not told you? Did you investigate him thoroughly before you let your guard down and allowed him to be intimate?

4 months is not sufficient time to really know someone inside out.

You should really start moving away from so much texting and instead have phone calls, FaceTime, or hanging out in person with texting being more of a check-in vs glued to your phones or “lengthy conversation later”. At some point or another all that texting just becomes redundant and boring. If you guys are genuinely limited to only texting then that’s really gonna put a damper on the progression you are able to make as a couple.

Yes i get that my problem is that he only has like 3 classes a week and nothing, he has no job only goes to uni. And i catch him like what i repost at 3am so i dont think time is his issue?
