GUYS - What makes a girl unapproachable?

I was just wondering what can make a guy think twice before approaching a girl. What are some things that make you back off and what are some things that make you want to get to know her?

Things that would dissuade me and make her seem unapproachable:

1. Being with other female friends. This is probably the worst out of all of them! When guys see a girl who is out with her friends, they perceive her friends as being like a pack of wild hyenas that she wants to feed you to if you make one slip-up.

2. "Overdressing" for the occasion. Things like wearing lots of jewelry, doing your hair in a way that it looked like it took hours, and dressing in dressy outfits just to go to the mall all give off the impression that a girl is high maintenance, and the only guys who will approach a girl who comes off as high maintenance are guys who only want sex.

3. Fast walking. If you walk at a speed faster than most it gives off the impression that you're always in a hurry and busybusybusy! Guys think you won't even have time for them so they won't bother.

4. Cell phones! Be careful what you say when you're talking on your cell phone in public. If a guy who might be interested in you sees you talking on your cell to someone he might try to listen in on a little bit of the conversation to get a feel for what your personality is like.

5. Text messages! Most guys assume that if a girl is constantly sending text messages on her phone, that it's to her boyfriend and she's taken. So don't sit there and type away like you're a data entry operator with a deadline on your phone in public.

That's about it. But I can tell you this much. Nothing to me makes a girl seem more approachable than if she's wearing jeans that are a little bit loose fitting. Not skin tight, not baggy. I don't know, it just gives off this impression of her being easy going.

yeah anything negative basically, like he said, you know arms crossed, not smiling no eye contact (for the most part at least)... there's also the fact that when you get "dolled up" it can be pretty intimidating, though it may look good to us, (and believe me it does) psychologically it tells us were not good enough. y that is I dk, the brain will always be a mystery, its just something you gotta try to fix

my suggestion, would be tone it down... then when were actually friends, start to "doll up" if youd like (cause I know he'd like it, obviously)
